Early intervention plays an important role in keeping minors from embarking on a life of crime. Swift and consistent punishment for offences can help reduce the incidence of crime. After serving their sentence, young offenders should receive support aimed at preventing re-offending but there are various things that we can do to prevent youths from crime.
There are few approaches we take in order to prevent crime committed by youths.
Every young person has a different method of learning and deserves support that is specifically tailored to suit them. We carry out initial assessment to find out what they need and find training or businesses that will be able to support them achieve these goals.
Our training and work experience are designed to help people integrate into the society, We do this by creating a path for them and giving them control and responsibilities to make the right choice. We also contact businesses that are able to offer training and able to help us achieve these goals
County Lines is where illegal drugs are transported from one area to another, often across police and local authority boundaries (although not exclusively), usually by children or vulnerable people who are coerced into it by gangs. The ‘County Line’ is the mobile phone line used to take the orders of drugs. Importing areas (areas where the drugs are taken to) are reporting increased levels of violence and weapons-related crimes as a result of this trend as they fight to keep control over an area which can result in increase of violence. The gang will normally target young and exploit them to run as runners and in some cases take over a property belonging to a vulnerable person in order to run their criminal activities.
We have people with lived experience that understands the problem and together with our approach which is tailored to individual needs we are able to create a path that can lead them into the right path. We also believe more has to be done by schools and the police to educate Individuals at early stages.
